We’re an award-winning, not-for-profit organisation campaigning to stop plastic pollution – from the city to the sea. We’re made up of everyday people doing extraordinary things; using our skills (and sometimes discovering new ones) to create a more beautiful world.

Plastic-free periods

Reusable solutions

Plastic Free Periods is our public awareness campaign to raise awareness of the staggering 4.3 billion disposable menstrual products are used in the UK every year. Through our fun and engaging films and we're offering solutions to women across the UK to make a switch to reusables.

Join the Refill Revolution

Refill is an award-winning campaign to prevent plastic pollution at source by making it easier to reuse and refill your water bottle on the go than buy a single-use disposable plastic bottle Anyone can download the free app to find Refill Stations near them. There are now more than 15,000 Refill Stations on the app in the UK alone - including railway stations, airports and high street chains such as Costa, Starbucks and Wetherspoons.

What the flush...

Unflushables is our year-long campaign to reduce the number of wipes and disposable menstrual products being flushed. The last 10 years have seen a 700% increase in wipes found on beaches. Most wipes, tampons and pads contain plastic and really shouldn't be flushed - despite what the packet says! So #DontBelievetheWipe

Switch The Stick

Campaign success

Switch the Stick was our big campaign in 2016 which called on UK retailers to switch cotton bud stems from plastic to paper. Our petition was signed and shared by over 155,000 consumers in just two months. Thanks to all your support, we'll stop over 478 tonnes of single-use, non-recyclable plastic being produced each year!

Bog Standard

Pee, Paper and Poo!

Bog Standard is a public awareness campaign to raise awareness what should be going down our toilets – only the 3Ps – pee, paper and poo! We’re trialing a sticker campaign – on toilet doors in public spaces, Universities, cafes and restaurants  to help change flushing behavior so that people know what they should and shouldn’t be flushing where it matters.
